Internet Penetration Test
Today’s businesses rely heavily on the Internet. Be it email, e-commerce, VPN access for teleworkers, remote administration or customer file drops – every asset on the Internet constantly faces continuous attacks from different sources. Some of the possible attackers could be bot-seekers across the continent or even competitors trying to steal intellectual property.
At Bright Axis, we use a proven methodology of performing penetration tests from the perspective of an anonymous attacker out on the Internet. We can test the responsiveness of an enterprise’s Incident Response (IR) unit, the porosity of the firewalls, the security of the exposed services, misconfiguration of software and susceptibility to different types of targeted attacks. These tests perform a true assessment of the enterprise network perimeter and its ability to withstand and detect an actual adversarial action.
At the end of the penetration test, the customer gets a detailed report with business risks evaluated and a report of findings which includes a list of vulnerabilities affecting the business and specific recommendations on mitigating the risk of running those services.
These reports can be used to satisfy the network penetration test requirements of risk assessment initiatives, Payment Card Industry (PCI), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) or other compliance requirements of an enterprise.
